Lucero definately did one of if not the best set I've ever seen them do. Did everything I wanted them to do, and I was not above a little unselfconscious rocking out. Well, a little self conscious, realizing that I probably looked really really drunk. I wasn't, I was just out of character. Cory Branan was great as well, though the second band was unbelievably awful. Its terrible when I know by a bands haircuts I won't like them, and they proceed to not prove me wrong at all. Yes folks, I'm a snob. I have fully come to terms with this now I think. Though despite being a snob, I apparently have a pretty low trade-in value. Yikes!
I did the interview beforehand at the instore appearance at record and tape traders, and it went really well. Ben of Lucero is an incredibly nice, humble guy who answere all my questions really well. I should have it up soon hopefully. Now on to six nights in a row of working with mutants that make me ashamed to walk on two legs.
