What have I gotten myself into?
Okay. So. It started with yuletide, because rare fandoms need more love and I've been meaning to join ever since I heard about it last year. Fine. I can write 1,000 words by Christmas, no problem. NaNoWriMo veteran here.
But then there was spn_illuminated. I never got into the idea of big bangs, but the image of fanfics as illuminated manuscripts finally won me over. And then, because I am a crazy person, I signed up to submit art as well as a fic for it. Okay. Still okay. I can draw something by the end of the year. It might take me fifty tries to draw something that I won't be embarrassed to post on LJ, but I can do that.
But then. spn_30snapshots. I mean, my "Tales from the Roadhouse" series is practically made for the "Case by Case Basis" theme. It only makes sense to sign up. And how can I pass up the "In the Beginning" theme? It has Jane Austen and Niel Gaiman quotes on it! And no one in the whole comm has claimed Ruby yet! Clearly, I have to make both claims. And write all sixty fics for them.
