That idea I can't really take credit for. XD There was a fic on the BaschxBaltier community some time back where Basch was mostly blind, and Arora wanted another in that vein. I just thought that, since Balthier is a gunman and a pilot, he's so dependent on his eyes, and ....it just sorta came out.
