Okay, school will be interesting this year. My classes:
1. Precal with Keasler. You can tell she's a good teacher, but someone needs to explain to her what the word "redundant" means. Fast.
2. Latin III: Okay, I've always enjoyed going to my Latin class because the kids and the teacher have always been awesome. However, the language itself was a tad boring. I think it's safe to say that Latin will be my favorite class this year. And that's pretty sad.
3. AP Bio: I have no frickin idea why the hell I decided I would take AP Bio with LIERMAN of all people. But it's okay cause cool people like Heather and Lauren and Amy are in there with me. Misery does love company, after all.
4. World Religions: Okay, this is the class that I can get away with sleeping in. Mrs. Kroeger's notes bother me; she doesn't know how to use ellipses properly. (How sad is it that bad grammar is my pet peeve?!) Besides her brief mention of her Harry Potter addiction and the shiny drum set in the back of the classroom, nothing else has piqued my curiosity. That class is the most boring class I've ever been in. And considering I had chem with Zinone last year, that's saying something.
5. Weight Training with Bascle: Did I say that religion was the most boring class I've ever been in? Never mind. This is by far the most boring class ever. It's me and one other girl and 13 football players all squeezed into a room half the size of a regular classroom. And it smells bad in there, too.
6. AP English: WTF? English is supposed to be easier than history. Why isn't it? Because I have Hershbach, that's why. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from the woman, but can anybody explain to me the purpose of a five paragraph essay? If I had known that the ENTIRE class was about writing essays, I would be in Amato's Eng III right now, listening to his corny jokes and feeling sorry for the guy. But I didn't know and I'm writing 750-word essays twice a week instead. Yay.
7. American History: Okay, history has always been my class. It's never been hard for me. I love the subject, actually. And I have Mrs. Klein this year, who reminds me a little bit of Lorelai Gilmore, which is cool. However, because it's not an AP class, it lacks all of the intelligent AP students. Enough said.
Golf: What can I say about golf? Not a lot, really. Except it's very hot outside. Humid, too. And it takes up two and a half hours of my day that could be spent at home writing a Hershbach essay. At least I get some amusement out of hitting the ball retriever. Poor guy.
So now my day starts at six o'clock sharp every morning and ends sometime after 10:30 every night. And instead of a nice break from the work on weekends, they load us up even more.
Now I'm off to read five chapters out of my bio book.
