The Certificate
Dear Alison and Angela,

Congratulations!

Your room was nominated by RAs doing Health and Safety Inspections to recieve this award. RAs noticed that your room had no violations and was a clean living space that also showed individuality, pride in Pitt, and pride in living in the Residence Halls.

I hope you enjoy the T-Shirts, and accept them as a token of my appreciation, I believe that these shirts also show great pride in the Residence Halls at the University of Pittsburgh and thought you may enjoy wearing them.

Thank you for caring so much about your living space and keep up the good work!

I hope that your semester continues to be safe and enjoyable. Good luck with finals!

Respectfully,
Dean Jolin, Resident Director of Sutherland Hall

Our acceptance speech:
Wow! This is so unexpected! All year long, we've cut, drawn, used massive amounts of scotch tape, celebrated holiday after holiday...but was it all for naught? Sometimes, we thought so.

Our door was shiny, our signs were witty...but who would notice? Who would finally appreciate our door decorating skillz (with a "z")?

Well, the RD of this fine establishment decided to reward our efforts. Really, all we wanted was a simple, "Nice work, Alison and Angie!" but we got oh so much more! I mean, seriously -- we just do this because we're bored, and let's face it - kind of dorky.

But apparently our boredom and some shiny gold paper won us this nifty certificate and the appreciation of the RAs. Who knew?? Craziness.

Anyway, we'd like to thank campus computer labs for supplying us with the colored paper, Ms. Allison Shewan for the delightfully tacky door cover, countless clip art websites, our families for believing in us *sniff*, Ryan Seacrest, Tim Gunn(!), rainy days and Mondays, ALL OUR FANS OUT THERE... and last, but not least, RSA.

Keep livin' the dream!
You like us, you really like us!!

Roomie and I are awesome. (Period.)

Oh, and PA Hall officially has the best slogan: "We can see you!"
Stalker much? Ha ha...

We will wear our shirts tonight with much pride. Hooray for us.
