I love my out-of-state college,... but I would love it more if I were not shy.

I've been here for 2 weeks and I haven't made any friends.

My roommate is nice, but we don't hang out outside of our room.

I have cried myself to sleep multiple weekend nights.

I try to talk to people but always feel like maybe I am just annoying them,

or that they think I am stupid.

I have a couple friends nearby, but they are too busy to hang out with me.

it's only like 10 minutes away,... but they have other things to do.

I hope one of them remembers my birthday is this next weekend.

I just don't want to sit alone all Saturday night doing nothing.

or even if they just called me, it would feel somewhat better.

I hope they remember me.
