Flashes of rain and bright lights douse over him. Incomprehensible recollections that don’t coincide with the cycle--that cycle of cleaning up and regaining energy only to continue cleaning--he’s always lived by abidingly. That bleak cycle.
He realizes the opinion he’s formed and before logistics and statistics pound through his hard drive, fragmented memories of an umbrella and decorative lights piece themselves together.
He looks to the hand that dejectedly pulls at his own hand, and everything comes together. He can remember, he can recognize, he can feel that this ‘thing’ before him isn’t a ‘thing.’ It’s his…“Ev-aah!”
