Wow, it sure has been a long time since i last updated. So, what has happend to me during the past month? I am now assistant coach to a summer swimm team, an offical umpire for little league and softball, and im interning at the uthscsa in the biochemistry deptartment. All of which im getting paid for bitches. My favorite has to be the coaching job, i love to teach those little dudes and chicks how to swim here that laura? jk. I had the best night of my life yesturday. it was cool because i was all dark and it was just awesome! Im studying bacteriophages again. right now we're looking at 5 differant ones: 0305Ø7-9, 0305Ø7-11, 0305Ø7-15, 0305Ø7-29, 0305Ø7-36. All of which are phages from a mutant form of the bacteria bascilus thereas... i cant remimber how it is spelled, but we call the mutant P-2 for short. And the bacteriophages are called bacteriophage T, U, V, W, & X for short. Dr. hardies is crazy though the other day he walked in and said that the lab tech and i would have to have 320 sonicated phage clones by the end of this week. AHHHH! The internship is, simply put, awesome! for the reason that i get to spend lunch with laura EVERYDAY! A week ago i got back from our nations first capital city. It was awesome I got to share my research, look like a freakin geneous, and have everyone make fun of my title. Im glad that people finally were able to appriciate the corny scientific joke i put in it, "A Phage I'm Going Through." HA! Crap who am i kinding I bet no one who reads this will get it either. I was so pissed off though, because i didn't get to see independance hall the whole time we were there. DAM! Oh, well! The head guy of the symposium talked to me after seeing my presentation and said that he thinks that i should definatly look into getting my research published, so Im working on my bacteriophage publication first, and laura and I's grey water one second. Im really excited about it all! I have work to attend to for tomorrow, so i guess I'll say good-bye. Good-Bye!
