Young Ones
Apparently origin stories are all the same.
I now understand that, according to Hollywood, it is acceptable to become an all-powerful sociopath as long as my mother/sister/love-interest has been brutally taken away from me. Of course, for that to really work, I'd also have to know how to kill everyone around me, be prone to occasional hissy-fits, and be able to, in more than one instance, scream "Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!" to the sky.
