hiding in comic pages watching real life skim by
Wow. I havent even attempted updating since a few days after thanksgiving and that didnt even get posted. >< yeesh.
Ok, well, break has been going fairly well. Im getting a bunch of hours which is good financially (although sometimes I feel like no matter how much I work itll never be enough ><) and Ive gotten closer to one or two people and have gotten to see friends and spend time with my family. I cant believe Ill be heading back on Friday. Holy crap.
I still dont know what Im doing for new years seeing as how Im leaving the next day at 1pm.
Also I havent started packing. OOPS.
Christmas was really REALLY nice. My grandparents were able to come see us and it was a very relaxing day and I got a lot of the stuff on my wish list which was amazing o_0 Im so grateful! I got some art books and lolita and a NETBOOK and other clothes and anime and other wicked awesome stuff. Most importantly, good time with good people.
I amaze myself tho sometimes. I love the gifts I got and am thrilled with them and yet I still find myself thinking "oo I want this or that!" Like Camilla D'errico is having a sale on her website and theres stuff on there that Im like WOAH DO WANT!!! Alas, I am lacking in the recreational cash department >< heh heh. Oh well!
I gave a few people art work for Christmas...and they really seemed to like it which, in all honesty, was a very good, VERY suprising feeling. I personally am at a level where I am not happy with most of the stuff I draw because I KNOW that it could be improved a great deal. I wouldnt want to get my artwork as a gift o0 But peoples reactions seemed genuine and happy so...well it was a good feeling :D Ill leave it at that.
There are way too many people Id like to see and spend time with before I leave but with work and everything I know its not going to happen and that makes me really sad. According to my mom, they may be coming to visit ME for spring break. Which on the one hand is pretty cool, but also really weird to me on the other. We'll see what happens.
ALSO WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY!!!! A miniature golden doodle :D Sadly, I wont be around when we get it *cries forever* *sigh*

-pack

--and art stuff
--and toiletries
--and tea
--also plushies
-work, 5-9:30 tomorrow @ FYE
-work, 2:30-10:30pm Wednesday @ Kohl's
-doctor's appt @ noon on Thursday
-clean/pick up my room
-go see puppies with mommy
-see people!
So much to do! EEEP!
