Another year ticks by( XXV)

It is probably due time that I updated this thing again.  Seems like I am saying that a lot lately, but that is besides the point because I am indeed updating.  Anybody reading this probably knows what I am going on anyways.

Saturday.   Which is technically tomorrow, is kind of a big deal.  Yes, I turn 25.  I will go ahead and be honest that I expected to be somewhere completely different when I turned 25.  Even three years ago I think I expected myself to be a career man by now.  But oh well, I think I can deal.  It is weird to thing though that a lot of people are married with kids by age 25.  Hell, I am shocked when I see people from high school and my early years at UWW getting married, engaged, and knocked up.  Makes me feel like I might be missing out or something.  Someday I'd like kids.  I think most people do.  Really though, that is probably a conversation for another time.

Things are changing in the coming months.  I won't go into details, but I will keep it short.  Some important people in my life will be shuffling around and some leaving.  It won't be easy, but I can accept it.  That whole "change is inevitable" cliche is kind of in effect now.  Sad isn't it?

There are a couple of my friends that are going through some rough patches right now.  I really wish them the best.  These are those times where you really have to return the favor for all those times they were by my side during my unemployed streak.  If suddenly a problem solving gun would fall in my lap, I probably would use it on these friends.

I wish that we could have puppies in this apartment.  I want a puppy so bad.  I even have a name picked out for it already.  Normally I would share that name with you, but it is just that good.  Sure, Jason is obedient and does tricks for snacks, but he is just too big to curl up on my feet at night.

Packers are 3-4.  Who would have thought that they would be in a reasonable position at this point in the season?  It would appear that the young guys are really starting to gel.  I am wondering if Brett will stay just one more year if things are looking up.  Who knows?  All I do know is that I still look forward to watching the game every weekend.

Random hits:

-  UWW football team better make it far in the playoffs
-  Is it sad that when I watch Grey's Anatomy that I like most of the characters and despise the title character?
