My thoughts and feelings on this episode are so mixed! Let me get this out of the way first: the stuff with Emma/Snow/Mulan/Aurora and Hook is all set up for next week. It was okay and I'm so happy Emma can still see when people lie, but. . .eh. I really wish this show would stop with the three places per episode, because it's really ruining the

I agree that they are moving things too quickly and are rearranging things in such a way that it just feels like one big rewrite.

With Regina, I feel like they went way too fast in "The Stable Boy" and her reason (which everyone said would make you feel great pity for Regina and make you understand her more, etc) didn't work, because it was too fast and because hating a ten year old for a stupid mistake and than cursing a whole world for that mistake is completely stupid and idiotic. I think the writers realized that mistake and quickly decided to change it, but this new direction is just as bad. It's too fast, as you said. Villains can have sad stories and they can be redeemed, just not this way.

I also disliked the total lack of empathy from these characters, and Rumple's Malevolent glee in having finally created his very own "monster" (ie Regina). It lent a nasty misogynistic spin to the proceedings (and to Rumple, Victor, and Jefferson) that I really disliked.Agreed. Not only did it leave a nasty taste in my mouth, but it left

Enjoyable show and loving your comments on it. Just discovered a few weeks ago. And I am loving the Belle/Rumpel relationship. I just started reading some fanfic and discovered a few where Belle ends up the Dark One. It would be an intriguing mix, I do wonder what Rumple's reaction would be to seeing Belle as the Dark One. As she is so pure in lightness, I think she could out do all the villains as a the Dark One, a Dark One who was never a coward. Reading a interesting on archive of our own where in Fairy Tale land, Rumple has to give his powers to Belle to save her life and she becomes the Dark One with no memories thinking that Rumple is her servant. His reactions to her mannerisms and clothing is quite funny to me. Acourse it is only 3 chapters and seems not be updates anymore. But still I would love to see Rumple's reaction to an alternate world where Bael or Belle ends up the Dark One. I think it would be his worst fear ever, even worse then seeing them die. Lol your Welcome. I would love to see a Dark One Belle, Rumple's reaction would be worth it. I know I also read a story where Rumple catches Belle dressed up him and how amused he was. Though he said it missed a certain flourish.

While Belle can never be the Dark One, at least not with Rumple alive, it will be interesting to see her darker side. And how others react to it.
