Innocent Man/Nice Guy(episodes 13-14)

Nice Guy/Innocent Man is still an amazing drama. Lee Kyung Hee's writing is spot on in terms of characters. I'm also really happy that the memory loss story isn't falling into 'drama' territory. It's playing out in a very real way; EG has brain damage, she's not wondering around like a puppy. She is still herself.

- If nothing else these episodes proved just how much Maru wants to care for and protect Eun Gi. He's willing to go all out for her. He wants to live for her and put her back where she belongs. He knows she'll hate him and he'll have to leave, (probably go off and die) but in his own way he'll have shown his love.

- Jae Hee's speech in her car gave me chills. She'll take care of EG for life if EG stays stupid, pretty, and sweet? Why do I get the horrible feeling that JH would stick EG in a home or send her overseas? The thing about JH is she is delusional. She truly thinks that everyone is out to get her and that she is the good one. She believes that everything she does is for the good of everyone and that she is entitled to the company and all the power. But the thing is, JH always makes things worse for herself. She doesn't think clearly. She's insane - she keeps doing the same thing and always expects different results.

- EG is just so brilliant. Like, her anger was portrayed in a great way. Moon Chae Won blows me away over and over again. She really knows how to play EG's sweetness, vulnerability, anger, and strength. I do wonder if she remembers more than she's saying (after episode 14) and just isn't saying anything.

nice guy/innocent man, drama that is awesome, korean fall season, kdrama, drama thoughts and speculation
