What's Up? (ep 11)
The eleventh episode of What's Up? really felt like a 'set-up' episode, in that it was setting up the final story lines for the last seven episodes of the show. And that's cool, because it really was a great episode. Lots of movement forward for the characters and some nice moments between the cast.
- I loved that JH had all these thoughts about him and TH as he rode to her 'rescue'. This really was the episode where he realized he has romantic feelings, and it great to see how he dealt with them. That jealously and that feeling of 'I'm too late, she's leaving' really came through nicely.
- I felt badly for TH, because JH was so angry at her and she just had no idea why. She didn't know he was coming! I love that DR decided to try and help out and explain things to TH - ah, she really does care.
- BG still can't sing in front of people. But, I adored his chat with Professor SW, about who you're singing/talking to/for. Great stuff! Love that SW is helping out his students. (I think BG is one of his favorites. :) )
- SB is writing the music for a musical? One that may be a co-production between CY/TH's agency and the school? Guess we know what the last episode will be about.
- TH has signed with CY's agency. But, it seems like the guy in charge of the musical actresses may be a bit shady. Oh no!
- CY continues to be a huge bitchy girl. She gets upset that the agency wants to give the heroine role in a new musical they are producing to TH. So, she decides to use Mr. Oh (and possibly SB) to get TH kicked out of the agency as quickly as possible. Oh, she is just so unlikeable at this point. Roll with the punches, girl. Don't try and get an up-and-comer fired.
- I loved that when JH heard the agency guy was shady (from CY - wow, helpful) get went straight for the motorcycle to "save" TH from the creepy guy and his creeptastic poker game. Yes!
Can't wait to watch episode 12. Then onto episode 13, where the real angst begins.
