LOST series finale - live blogging (spoiler-y)
Spoiler-filled thoughts on the very last LOST fill this post.
39 minutes in and nothing has really happened, huh? The only time I felt emotion was when Hurley picked up super!drunk!Charlie in sideways land and when Jin and Sun remembered, almost in sideways land. The island stuff is very predicable. But, where the hell is Claire? Plus - glad Frank is alive. And - awesome seeing Juliet! Okay, either this show has become too predicable, or I've just gotten very good.
46 minutes in and - I saw Juliet being the ex-wife of Jack in sideways land coming a mile away. Also - I'm guessing the concert is where it will all come together. Honestly, I'm more invested in the sideways people than the original island people at this point.
53 minutes in and - Boone and Shannon in sideways world? WTF? Awesome. I was never a fan of either, but they should be around for the end. Can I just say lowering Des into the hole is a bit. . . anticlimactic? No, Claire! Go back - Aaron! I guess she thinks she'll no longer be able to function in the real world. I am so hoping she meets Charlie in sideways world before the last thirty minutes. They deserve an epic sideways world reunion.
64 minutes - WTF just happened with Des? Also - Claire/Charlie's look was so awesomely lovely! I've missed PB&J. I'm guessing that, like on the island, Kate and Charlie will be there as Claire gives birth at the concert.
74 minutes in - Epic yay to Charlie/Claire (and Aaron) reunion!
75 minutes in - OMG Ben! The island is falling apart!
79 minutes in - LOL! How corny was the slow-mo thing of Jack and fake!Locke running toward one another in the rain? Somebody watched 300 one too many times.
83 minutes in: Go on, Kate. Shooting fake!Locke! I never liked you, in fact I always hated you, but now. . .yeah, not so bad. Oh, in the sideways world Jack saves Locke and fake!Locke tried to kill Jack on the island. I do like the ways things match up in the two worlds.
97 minutes - I had a feeling Jack, Hurley, and Ben would hang back on the island. It's like Jack is the new Jacob, Hurley is the new Richard, and Ben is Ben. lol at Sun and Jin leaving Sawyer all bewildered in the hospital room. They're all: Nope, we're cool. See you later. And he's all: Ah, what? lol.
106 minutes in - Yay to the Sawyer/Juliet reunion!
2 hours in - Aw, Hurley is great and I like that he really is the new (new) Jacob. Sad that Jack is offing himself, even though I've never had any use for him. I love Hurley and how wonderful he really is.
2 hours and 3 minutes: Wait, how is Des supposed to get home? Also - glad that Claire, Kate, and Sawyer made the plane. It would have sucked if they were left behind. At least now they have a chance.
2 hrs and 16 minutes in: Aw to the Ben and Hurley stuff in both time lines.
2 hrs and 21 mins in - I have to say I honestly wish they had spent more of the last thirty mins in sideways world. So, wait. . .everyone in sideways world is dead? Wait. . .no, must watch to figure it all out.
2 hrs and 30 mins - So, sideways world was some kind of in-between place for the dead Losties to find each other? And Hurley stayed No. 1 with Ben as his No. 2 for a while? I wonder if Frank, Richard, Miles, Sawyer, Claire, and Kate made it back and what happened to them? Mmm. . .Also kind of sad that Charlotte, Miles, etc weren't there. Did I see Michael?! And how weird is it that in their in-between - they had a whole freakin' life! I wonder if they are off to some kind of Heaven - bit strange to think of Sun forever pregnant in Heaven or Aaron forever a baby.
