Sep 18, 2008 22:43

Now that Japan’s summer season is coming to an end and Japan, Korea, and America’s fall season is starting, I thought I’d write a few reviews on what I watched (and liked) and what I’m looking forward to. Because I’m pretending I have that kind of time.

WARNING: SPOILERS!

Here is Part One: ( my review of the Japanese summer dramas I watched. )

You should watch it. It's very light and cute, but it does have its serious moments.

There was another drama I wanted to red you, have you seen Strawberry on the Shortcake? Boy in love with his stepsister, stepsister in love with the older students whose secretly having an affair with his teacher. Lots of angst and Abba music.

Great minds, indeed. I like both leads as well, so I decided to watch it. They have crazy chemistry with one another; and all four leads are just pitch perfect together. (I've got two vids for SOS, which I'm thinking of remaking.)

One thing: SOS is very angsty and all the characters can be crazy/selfish at some point during the series.

This is boycottbananas. I'm just on one of my RP journal's and am too lazy to get on my other one. XD;;

Anyway, another person that actually prefers Yasuko to Kenji to Seigi no Mikata? :glomps you: You're awesome. :D

Hey! I actually really loved Yasuko to Kenji. To me, it was much better than Seigi to Mikata, and it was actually my favorite of the summer season. I just watched the last episode RAW, and it was very cute - plus it ended like I thought it would. He did yell her name and flip the table at one point.

Pfffft, I'm lame. Sorry for taking so long to reply. XD;;

The table flip at the end was pretty funny. :] I loved when he did that in the series. XD However, the cast members said to wait until after the show for something? But it was just cut off. D:

Anyway, it really was better than Seigi no Mikata and after watching the last episode, it too became my favorite drama of the season. XD;; SnM was good, but I still can't see how people prefer that over the awesomess that is YtK.

Mm, I'm not sure what they were saying. Most likely it was for a preview for the next series (the one to replace TnK) or something like that. I doubt it was important. :/ (At least I hope it wasn't important)

I agree in regards to SnM, it was good and it had its moments. But it was not as great as everyone says it is. I felt that way about Last Friends, actually. Oh well, no two people have the same tastes on everything. I still prefer YnK.

I love reading season reviews! :D ♥

I have only watch seigi no mikata, and a bit of code blue & maou. I enjoyed seigi no mikata, it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either.

After reading your review, I feel like watching Yasuko to Kenji now . :D I'm dying to watch a comedy!
