Volt is officially moved into Dragonfly Farm. I still have to get my tack stall all set up, so tomorrow I think I'll go to the tack shop and blow my life savings on the necessities (almost kidding). Picking him up from Skeene Crest was really rough. Carole you could tell was really sad, and she went in her house and you could tell she had been crying when she came back out. When the trailer left the driveway, all the other horses in the field lined up and whinnied, it was like their final goodbye. Broke my heart. I felt like the worst person on the planet. Ever. But she came to Dragonfly to see where he was living and everything, she is the nicest person. Once we got Volt in the paddock, I felt like a nervous mother. There were several disputes between Louie, Ju Ju & Volt over the pecking order, but everyones okay for now. Michelle is keeping a super close eye on them, and I'm going out at seven tomorrow morning. In the end however, I am BEYOND HAPPY that volt is FINALLY at Dragonfly Farm :D. It's the best place he could be. I love it there so much, I honestly want to like, move there :P Michelle & I went to the tack shop today and got Ju Ju a saddle & girth, so maybe I'll hop on her soon and test ride. We went to Wal-Mart too (my third time ever :P) and bought bottom feeders (that actually wasn't the purpose of going to walmart, the purpose was defeated when the didn't have what we needed lol) and we put them in the water trough to help keep it clean.
