[Tonight's message is accompanied with the loud happy chatter of a crowd.]
So I know, Mr. America is really the nation. And there's another one here too! His name is Türkiye and his territory is a few oceans away from Mr. America's. Nations are really nice. I wonder if we have one.
[A long pause. Now the excitement that had been in his voice slips into something more calmly serious.]
Hm. I don't want him to come back to this place. I don't want any of my friends to come here. They should stay on their worlds with their friends and family.
[Sora wants Riku to be at home but at the same time is glad that he's here. It's selfish to want Riku with him in this place, isn't it? Then again it was selfish to not want to go home without Riku too, especially since he was told to take care of Kairi and so obviously didn't go home with her. Ugh this is all confusing. Why doesn't Riku tell him whether he wants to stay or leave instead of just going with what Sora does?]
Riku...I can't go home yet. I can't leave these people stranded here and I think I'm gonna find the answers on this world. [Time to stop being selfish and just ask Riku what he wants.]
Some people can only have lives here, Sora. Look at Joe, Roxas, and Namine. Look at the Nobodies. They can't exist outside of here.
...Me? [A pause. He sighs.] I don't know. I'm pretty restless and it's hard to sit still here, but that's how it is otherwise. I think I'd rather see this world through until we find a solution before going anywhere.
I know that and if they want to stay then that's up to them. I'll just do what I can to make this place a little better and then everything else will be left in their hands.
[An echoing sigh.] Everything's becoming routine. Go to work, get some sleep, explore the island. It's so routine I actually debating going to school just for something different. Maybe...we need to shake things up. I can't go around knocking things like officials off their seat according to Donald and Goofy but there's got to be some kind of information they don't want getting out to the public.
[He doesn't think it's fair to leave it to them, or make them feel like they need to stay, but he says nothing for now.]
I know it's boring and it gets hard. I'm trying to hear more about this Core; I think it's picking specific people and it's not just random and I think someone might be pulling the strings.
[Sora just knows what Donald and Goofy have been telling him: certain things have nothing to do with them. And he's been learning to listen to what people want instead of just rushing on ahead. Stay or go, Sora's willing to let them choose.]
Some guy named Snape wants to check the bottom of the lake. I was going to go with him.
I saw. You were asking about whether to be near the sea or closer to your job. [He didn't know which one would be better.] Maybe someplace with a good view at equal distance from work and the beach.
[And not let Snape push him in if his shield doesn't work. Sora's not too sure about that suggestion because it would probably put him in the area of Roxas and the two aren't ready for higher chances of running into each other yet.]
I'm thinking of going for the one near the beach, so I can take Hikaru for walks there. Plus it'll be quieter for sleeping during the day.

Add Mr. America's name to the list.

Is that right? I'm sorry he's gone. Did you know him well, Sora?

[The crowd grows to a low background noise and Sora sighs.]
Maybe we'll see him again someday.
[Gotta think positive, right? Losing friends, not knowing what happened to them is hard. What's worse is that Sora knows he can't help these ones.]

You'll always have him in your heart. Maybe he'll follow your bond back to you and this place, or another world.

What do you want to do, Riku?

[But beyond that...]
It'd be smart of you to go and check it out.

[He'd been planning to go, with or without Snape.]
Do you think it's still making people sick? [Pause.] Never mind, doesn't matter. Curaga will take care of it.

[Sora can handle himself just fine, but Riku will still worry for him.]
It's already done enough damage to the earth. I think anyone who eats food from the soil could get at least a little sick.

[Sora vs. radiation water. Who will win?]
Oh I'm looking at apartments just so you know.

[Yeah, uh. No. Snape can go jump in himself.]
That's a good idea. Do you only have night shifts?
