New Years Resolutions: The Fosters Family

1. Get over Brandon. (Callie)
I think this will be the hardest resolution to keep. No matter how much I try to deny my feelings for him, they’re still there. Brandon is now technically my brother and I cannot compromise me and Jude’s positions in an actual family for the first time in our lives. I will try my best, but there will be no promises as to what will happen this year.

2. Put Jude’s needs before my own. (Callie)
I’ve been doing this for 10 years - since the day he was born, and I don’t think this year will be any different. I really messed up a few times throughout the years with him, mostly with the Liam situation and now my feelings for Brandon. But no matter what I will do everything in my power to keep Jude safe and living with Stef and Lena.

3. Figure out whatever it is I have with Callie. (Brandon)
I know this will happen at some point, but I’m worried that it won’t go the way I want it to. Callie and I really need to sit down, with no interruptions, and figure this out once and for all. This part will be hard for me because whenever conversations between the two of us get heated, we both go run and hide.

4. Have more date nights with Lena. (Stef)
Lately Lena and I haven’t had as much time together as we would have liked. This year, Lena and I need our own date night with none of the kids, at least once every other weekend. I know that if we really try we can make it happen. Although the kids will always come first, we also need to make our relationship more of a priority on our list of thing to do.

5. Get a boyfriend. (Mariana)
I need a boyfriend! So my plans for this is to hang around Jesus’ friends more. Even though they are mostly idiots, they are really cute! Jesus is dating one of my friends, so I’m gonna date one of his. Hopefully all this will happen by Valentine’s Day because I want a giant teddy bear.
