Fear is nothing but an expression of respect...

I have come to learn, through the experience tonight, that fear is an expression of respect. When you fear someone, you show them that they have control over you, and they can manipulate you any way they would like to. Fear comes from the fact that you know something must be done in order to mantain peace, that pleading or rationalization must occur. Fear may come through sobs, cries, shaking, or that feeling in you stomach that just doesn't go away. Never know, it may be anything. But, none-the-less, fear shows that your are depending upon what you are scared of. If you are afraid of the dark, you must depend on the dark to stay away. (Light) If you fear a man with a gun pointed at you, you must depend on his judgement to save you from himself. Fear shows a respect for such things.
