Just a quick state of the Kat post to let y'all know what I'm up to.
Will not be on the internets much until Sunday afternoon, as I'm jumping on a plane in a few hours to visit the boyfriend this weekend. We're going out to Governor's Island tomorrow and I can get my first look at the fort in eleven years. Wow, is that going to be surreal. I'm going to take a billion pictures, though they probably won't get posted until next month when I can get my hands on a scanner again.
To those of you I'm in slowtime with, I'll be tagging in as much as time allows, and then will binge on playing catch up on Sunday.
(Also in MilliNews...Write! Will be tagging your most recent post with update on the status of OOM hotness and my own posting plans. I believe the word I'm searching for is 'Mwahahahahaha.')
In non MilliNews, only one week to DragonCon! And me still with costume bits to finish. XD I've got the remaining tasks plotted out fairly well, so I don't think there will be problems getting everything done in time. (Absolute worst case scenario, I stay up way late Thursday night to finish stuff off.) The remaining tasks are:
- put waistband on pants
- put skirty-bit on blouse thing
- make collary-bits for the blouse thing
- make other boot cover and add elastic to both
- make tiara thingee
- practice with the wig more
Oy.
Well, that's all I can think of for now. Catch you on the flip side.
EDIT: OMG there's a Potbelly's in my terminal at the airport. My day is made.
