Savannah was in a cheerfully bouncy mood as she and Chris walked down to Serenity Cove. She and Chris were going to hang out and talk about their powers and the different way their magics worked

"This water is so different from the San Francisco Bay," Chris said as they arrived at the beach.

"How so?"

"The Atlantic Ocean is rougher, wilder," Chris said. "A little intimidating." He glanced over and smiled at Savannah. "Kind of like you."

"I get the wild part," she said with a smile. "But why intimidating?"

She was going to use that word to describe herself at her next Spy class.

Savannah turned her head and gave him a faint smile.

"It sucks to be them any time they have tried to mess with me or my family. I'm a Levine. I don't put up with that."

"Well, Halliwells don't put up with people treating their friends that way either," Chris assured her.

Savannah smiled at him. "Want to know something that really drives the Cabal guys batshit insane?"

"What?" Chris asked, sliding his hand down her arm and taking her hand in his.

Savannah grinned at him and plopped down on the sand, tugging at his hand gently.

"Chris, I've run through graveyards and stuff. Sand doesn't bother me."

Chris sat down next to her. "Why did you run around in graveyards?"

"Gathering ingredients for the power ritual that my mom had wanted me to undergo to get me able to access the power I'm bound to."

"That sounds really interesting," Chris said.
