[ After Kitty had accidentally released Mareep she'd spent a little time looking at it, slowly petting it. It was cute, and very soft too, and the fact that it was friendly helped calm her a little. She packed her bag back up, leaving out the odd device, and put her hand under Mareep's chin, looking carefully at it ]
Who do you belong to? What were you doing in that ball?
[ She didn't expect to receive a response, but the fact that Mareep came closer and lay its head on her made her smile ]

[ Giving another look to the device she picked it up, finally giving it a look over ]
You keep telling me things, maybe I should ask you.
[ Though she thought better than just asking it questions, instead looking through it. There were a lot of different options, most that she didn't really quite get - the book in her bag would probably help with that - but one caught her eye. Phone book. So she'd been right, it was like a phone. But who would she call? She didn't have anyone's number in here that she'd know. Underneath it was PokéGear Connect, which sounded useful. So that was what this was, a PokéGear. Connect sounded much like the internet so she selected that option and spoke ]
Uh, if I've got this working then hi. My name's Kitty and I've just arriver here. Wherever here is, other than New Bark Town. I don't know what's happened or how I arrived but if someone hears this and can help then I'd appreciate that.
[ And in the background you can hear a cry of 'Mareep' and a giggle as Kitty pets it again ]
