One does what one has to to survive. It is unwise to label chores 'male' or 'female' when one can not guarantee access to both. Such stubbornness in skills must make it very hard to get your clothing repaired.

But fine. I could always use firewood.

Ah but you do, if you worry that a skill makes one 'girly'. Besides, people come and go quite randomly here. It is always best to be able to function on one's own.

A big dragon or a miniature one like Argent?

A few rabbits and a string of larger fish then? In exchange for, say, one cord of firewood? Hardwood preferred, especially hickory if you can find it.
