Holes and Books
I got my 10th body piercing today. I'm quite pleased with it - I've wanted a vertical hood piercing for quite a while and... it just seemed like the right time. Walked over to Cold Steel on Haight after delicious Thai noms with Patrick, and decided to just go for it - initially I was just going to ask a few questions!
It was really no big deal, either - just felt a pinch and it was done. And now my lady-bits are fancier.
After I let someone intentionally stick me with a needle, we went back home and watched the third episode of Game of Thrones, which is really sort of growing on me. After Game of Thrones, it was obviously time for pancakes, so we did that too.
And then, the best thing - he read aloud to me, the book Cryptonomicon by Neil Stephenson. Obviously since the book is approximately fifty billion pages long it will take quite a while but I think that it's basically adorable that he is reading it to me.
