cat fight

ok... So i love cats. Pretty much everyone I know knows this about me. I have many cats. Today, for the first time, I ended up in the middle of a literal cat fight. One girl had kittens. I brought another girl in for grooming and was holding her between my kness. The kittens are under the bed. Mama cat popped her  head out from under the bed exactly at the same spot as the female's face who I was grooming.
So a fight ensued.Mind u, I was holding sharp objects trying to get mats out of the cat' s fur... so he mamma cat scratched and bit (mostly me) until I subdued her in a bedspread....
Sometimes I wonder I'm an animal lover.
