Great story. For some reason, I am always drawn to the "one sided" fics...which is why I write them so often. They are more realistic, I suppose. And I love realistic fics!
This was very well done. A great build up, enough back story to keep interest but not enough to take away from the main plot. Short, rapid character introductions, an angsty Ian, and a wedding that may or may not happen are the components that are keeping me interested. [=

I understand what you mean by them being realistic. It's sad to say, but love stories aren't exactly real. People always fall in love but rarely do they find someone that loves them just as much. And oftentimes, though sadly so, the other person doesn't love them back.
I really love one-sided fics, too. They're my favorite. Ianthony one-sided fics are the best thing ever, even though Ianthony is my OTP and reading them gives me immense pain (like These Are My Last Words, coughs). I don't know, I guess I'm a masochist, haha. :P
