FILE 17 : accidental video / action

[ Conan looks relatively unharmed. Perhaps a slight hint of irritation but still unharmed. He once again has the cellphone in his hand, but this time he isn't taking picture of anything. It looks like it's on camera mode. He's on the first floor, in the hallway where the kitchens are located and such, hidden in shadows.

He looks at his watch. ]

[Poland has managed to scrape his way through the event in close enough to one piece, staying around the kitchen most of the time to try and keep it safe for everyone.]

[For a moment, with a flash of light and heat, he thinks his number might have come up. There's a sharp pain in his stomach--ugh, is that shrapnel? That's going to be a bitch--]

[The oven. Who was using the oven last?]

[Cursing under his breath in Polish, he drags himself to his feet and wobbles towards the door.]

[ After cutting the communicator off, Conan had hesitated. He wanted to see what the bomb had made the kitchen look like. He needed to know the extent of the damage so that he could take notes and make a better bomb for next time. But that communicator had been on for god knows long. Goddamn mansion. People might realize, and come.

It was only a moment's hesitation. He decided to hide himself for the moment's being. Pictures and recording could come later. At least he had planted a bug in the kitchen, so he could hear who was in there. The explosion had not reached it.

As he walked away from the kitchen, he turned his glasses on, listening through the noise to hear what was going on in there. ]

[He'll hear this, followed by some stumbling-noises and muttering.]

...was in here... like, can't have...

[Action] UWAHH SORRY...? AT LEAST NAI HAD AN UNPAINFUL DEATH?

[ Conan stands up and takes out his handgun, with a silencer attached to it. He needed to get rid of Poland before he told anyone.

He silently ran back to the kitchen, and at near the damaged door frame, where he could feel Poland was nearby, he stopped. He listens in again to pinpoint where Poland was in the kitchen. This murder needed to be swift and silent. ]

[Hearing explosions at any time, especially during this event, is never a good thing. And of course, Minato is still alive at this point. Fuzzy time is win.

He was on the first floor and heading to the kitchen to investigate.]

[ fuzzy time is best thing ever in role-playing setting.

Conan was hiding in one of the corners of the hallway (the setting here really helped) towards the kitchen. He heard footsteps coming this way. Taking out a knife he angled it so that he could see who was coming.

Minato.

Conan bit his lower lips. Did he come because he saw the post or heard the explosion? Which was it.

After a few moments, he put the knife away and stood up. The best thing to do was to see Minato's reaction. Besides... Conan did want to know how someone would act if a supposed friend attacked them.

He stepped out into the hallway, where Minato could completely view him ]

[Minato had heard the explosion instead of checking his comm device as he should have. There was the possibility that the perpetrator was nearby in order to detonate some explosive. Or the person could have been elsewhere and this was timed. Or it was some kind of magic spell that caused it. Or it could all have been an accident. Who knew. Someone could be hurt, so he needed to help whoever may have been in the area.

But before he could get very far to figure it out or see if anyone had been injured, he saw a familiar face. He nodded, stopping to talk to the detective.]

Edogawa-kun. You heard it too?

[ 'Heard'. Not 'saw'. But Conan couldn't let his guard down. This was a game of deceiving each other. He didn't know if Minato was really telling the truth. ]

Yeah. It came from the kitchen.

Are you going to go check?

[ He was staring at Minato quite intently. Not wanting to miss any movement. ]

[oh gdi Conan. Nagi is going to find you. And it doesn't take him long. He's already drawing blood out of his hand when he comes into sight.]

[ we will say this is near evening y/n? Conan should be slightly tattered by now... ]

[ Conan has a weapon, a sickle, in his hand as well. There was also one more handgun hidden on him. He glares at Nagi ]

Are you going to try and kill me?

I am going to stop you. [He won't rule out killing you as an option.]

I won't let that happen. [ he keeps his distance though. He knew about Nagi and his power, he wasn't going to come close yet. ]

[ Gareki was on the hunt for Nai's killer ever since he found the boy's body. Judging by the lack of wounds, he knew the killer didn't use conspicuous methods like bombing, but it didn't hurt to check the scene out.

Upon finding Conan, Gareki points his gun towards him. His eyes are cold and calculating, ready to pull the trigger at any moment if Conan poses a threat. ]

[ Conan's eyes widened as Gareki suddenly appeared with his gun pointed towards him. Did Gareki know? Conan wasn't sure. He decided to feign innocence. At least he had no weapons visible at the time. ]

Gareki-san...?

[ Gareki's gun doesn't falter. He couldn't trust anyone. Not now, not after what happened to Nai. ]

What are you doing here.

[ His voice is as icy as his glare. ]

[ Conan continued with his childish facade. He added in a hint of fear in his voice ]

I hear an explosion so I came to check.

[ he looked up at Gareki ]

Why are you aiming a gun at me?
