another week away from reality
Vacation has been extended for another week. I'm now more than a little anxious about all the make-up work that I'm going to have to do, but oh well. A few more days in the Philippines is pretty worth it. Besides, I've yet to buy any cute, cheap skirts, and I can't leave before I do. Oddly, I find myself missing friends and classes.
Anyway, flashback on the past few days here. Spent two days in Antipolo, which is so awesome. It's Filipino from the very tips of the hairs on its skin to the very marrow of its bones, if that makes any sense. Perhaps I've been doing too much Anatomy homework.
Stayed with my ninong there. He has got to be one of the most inspiring people I've ever met. When you meet such accomplished people as him, you kinda wonder if you're ever gonna catch up. Anyway, he helped me see a lot of things that I really needed to open my eyes to.
Had fish balls and Zagu with friends yesterday. Not all friends were present, but we must make do with what we have.
