and today....ladies and gentlemen...

so it seems like every sixth month or so that i manage to post something on lj it never fails to amaze me on how few times im on,
and how it still has no desire to delete itself...hmm..oh well..can't complain.
but today im actuallly in enough of a culture shock to post something...
so i shall begin(and eventually hopefully end)
...
smithtown is wonderful.simply wonderful.good size, safe streets, and only slighly too far from the city.
i like it.
the city itself(NYC)had the safe efect on me as it has on anybody thats there for the first time.
its makes your jaw drop about 10 feet and you don't even notice it until u fel drool on ur chin because u r too buissy STARING at EVERYTHING to pay attention to yourself.
it was nutts.but in a good way.
so after getting there(2 trainrides..well..one transfer,,but still..2 rides on the metro...and a good ammount of wlking)i finally manage to meet my lovely joyce at grand central station (and yes, they do stuff as many people in those trains/subways as the ones they show in the movies...its pretty amazing actually..lol)we shot off on another (and rather long and confusing)mission..finding the rehersal that joyces teacher n co were doing for todays(sep 14)morning-show w/ rosia o'donell and some other pretty lday..they were pretty fantastic(and in case anybody happened to catch it,it was the one w/ the dancing elf n the people with the giant cookies)
after that we had some time to kill before our broadway show (we saw "the producers"...so amazing.bradway is amazing!!!)we went and stood outside the tents of fashion week in madison square garden (its VIP invitation only)and though we tried every possible way to get in (muhahahaha)we were brutally fought off by large security guards..lol...so we stood outside and watched PETA (animal rights activists who are infamous for doing things like tackeling models on the runway and throwing bucketts of red paint..not to mention their run-in w/ naomi campbell that i do belive sent her to jail)occupy a large area in the middle of the buissy street w/ gruesome posters of skin-less puppies etc...it was...apertizing..
then we enjoyed broadway like no other afer some delicious thai grinds,
and then it was off to joyce's dorm (where we ate about everything in the room and hung out w/ her wonderful room-mate julia until 3:00 a.m)
aaaaand today i slept in,waited for her to finish classes, and went to the mall...where the mothership(H&M)called me home...ahh..i love H&M..
then yours tuly got on the train to NYC,switched a million subways n trains n what not again(i'd like to announce that im rather proud of my little blonde self)and am now currently retired back in my apartment w/ my two room-mates..
aaand tomarrow is a new buissy day.my 2 days off are gone(though it felt like a lifetime) and its back to el program.
i can understand why the i <3 NY t-shirts are so popular.
the end.

...and that about makes up for the months n months i've been slacking on lj.
that was like a frikkin novel.
whats new w/ you guys?
