Attention good people on my flist
New friends are exempt from this ofcourse..
So here's what I'm thinking with this whole friends list cleanup thing:
I have now spent the last couple of hours cleaning the shit out of my GMail inbox, resulting in 0 unread messages *gasps* What I've done with all the shitload of LJ notification emails I still have unread is put them into labels by person, which I'll then be going through this weekend probably.
I have a lot more people on my Friends List than I actually read myself, which is an "issue" I will be dealing with sometime. For now I won't be doing anything except catch up on the people I already get the notifications on. I've decided to make lists and post them here, basically showing people where they stand with me, if:
1. I read their LJ's and I'm all caught up with them
2. I read but am behind
3. I'm just now starting reading but have been getting notifications before which just pilled up to infinity and got deleted (pretty much starting to get to know the person from scratch now)
Those left off the list I am not reading myself or it's been too long since you updated for me to remember, and have no idea if you read me, i.e. in danger of being cut one of these days
If you find yourself not on a list, but you read me but haven't been commenting and want to remain, just drop me a comment here and I'll read your journal for a bit to see if we click (highly likely) If so you'll be moved up a peg and kept :)
