raindrops keep falling on my head..
amusing how it always rains on Chinese New Year xD
here the chinese people say it's considered bad luck if it DOESN'T rain. of course, the day always falls in rainy season but really, i couldn't remember a time when it didn't rain on the chinese new year's celebration. last year it was sunny in the morning, and we were joking about how we're gonna have a bad year- but then rain suddenly started pouring past midday. today, a heavy rain started when i was on the bus and i overheard someone complaining about it and her friend said 'because it's almost Imlek [chns new year]'
sometimes i wonder if we can do whatever it is the chinese do to get rain in the middle of a scorching dry season..
