Isn't it how when you're around some people, you act differently than you normally do? And I don't mean that you act like someone you're not, okay thats really confusing, so heres my example... Anyone who's ever met me knows that I'm shy. REALLY SHY at first anyway. But eventually as i get to know the person, I can be really crazy. Well whenever i'm around certain soccer girls I can be really outgoing with strangers from the get go... even guys (which is quite the surprise). And its not like I'm trying to be outgoing, it just ends up that way. Weirdest part of all this is how I JUST learned about this in sociology.... The perspective that when an individual joins a group, they give up a certain amount of their individuality and they are influenced by those in the group (or the personalities of those in the group).
So while i'm loving the no busy work in college, this tests and papers are the only points concept is starting to hit me... I didn't do too hot on my sociology exam and now my grade's not so great, which sucks because it's such an easy class. And in my hardest, most boring class i have 150%... and then i'm doing decent in all my other classes.
Soccer's a blast.... the good times just keep rollin'! And we freakin' beat NDNU1-0 (they were ranked 7th in the country) and then NDNU beat Westmont (#1 in the country) 4-3 in OT! that's gonna be good for the rankings, and we might possibly be ranked. (HOPEFUL THINKING). and coach actually came and talked to me about how i'm doing. Well kinda, but thats a big diff from before. WWC games tonight! after practice katie (hopefully) and i are going to see China vs. Australia. we're missing the russia vs. ghana game but its all good.
