o/` "Is it written in the stars
Are we paying for some crime
Is that all that we are good for
Just a stretch of mortal time

"Is this God's experiment
In which we have no say
In which we're given paradise
But only for a day" o/`

There's a community called ljlayouts which has many to choose from, and I've found that visiting the individual creators' journals and sites yielded still more. They're not hard to install, especially since the community leaves instructions for doing so.

I have a background in medical training (I was a certified nurse's assistant and I've had some nursing courses as well as growing up with a medic father in the military...my stitches are still better than some fourth year med students'...I had the opportunity to impress them with that when I was in hospital last year) but I've supplemented it with the local remedies and with scientifically based herbal research (what the plant actually does, what part does it, and why it works on which conditions). The only metaphysical part of it is being able to sense how the patient feels and being able to read those energies (think of it as looking kind of like a PET scan, that's what I see when I'm looking and it works on about the same principle).

I am not myself a treateur as I am not Cajun and was not raised down there but I hold the equivalent status in the community as I was taught by one.

Most of it is preventative medicine --- explain in no uncertain terms in the patient's language what happened, what needs to happen, and what will happen if he or she refuses to cooperate. The teas, tinctures, and unguents do their work only if the patient cooperates by resting, eating well, and gently exercising.

It's been hell. Dee is NOT by any stretch of the imagination a good patient. He does what I ask only because I've been able to demonstrate to him that he feels so much worse when he does not.
