I have multiple health issues. It started with a genetic defect, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is a defect of the collagen tissues. Then I developed fibromyalgia and finally severe psoriasis with psoriatic arthritis (the only treatment for which is a form of chemotherapy which I'm expected to start some time in the new year). All of these cause severe pain and debilitation in the joints but I'm fighting it as best I can.

OK, first, maybe it's my computer but I can't read your entry! Your font shows small to me. So I copied it somewhere else (notepad) and finally I can see it. IF you can change that, it might help someone else.

I wish I could fix everything for you. Obviously, you are a very determined person who would make good use of a healthy body.

I identified a lot with what you wrote. Pain can be SO SO HARD and wearing and if you feel you are just going to finally sleep only to feel it all over again in the morning...I am very glad you didn't kill yourself but I TOTALLY Identify with the feeling.

I love how your entry ends on a high note.

And it's true. It's the little victories.

When I was in Physical Therapy, it's the little things. Making myself walk even when it hurt. Walking across the room. Nothing to most people. Huge, huge deal to me.

I really, really liked this entry of yours.

I sincerely hope the chemotherapy you mentioned gives you your health back.

I admire your courage.

Thanks for being so open and sharing so much!

*pokes LiveJournal* I have no idea why the font is so small...it's not something I would mess with as I have to magnify most entries in order to see them myself.

I'm glad you liked the entry. Being able to do that one thing was just huge for me. Granted, I had to have help getting into the truck because I was exhausted but still...to do something for myself. Amazing.

Thanks for reading.

So am I. It's not a cure but it is a comfort. Cold days still hurt and if I overdo it, I really feel it the next day.

Was this before or after our visit before Christmas?

Think of you often, Fran.

Be as good as you can (and fake the rest!)...

Peace.

This was after Christmas. We found a way to pay for the Celebrex out of pocket. It's not a cure, but it does provide better pain control.
