(no subject)
My colouring contract ends tomorrow, and I don't have another one lined up yet. I was hoping to have something figured out by now... ideally, something that would start in mid-August and thus give me a lovely six week vacation without even having to think about looking for a job. As it is, things are a bit more up in the air than that. But I'm still really looking forward to some time off. It's been a really long time since I had an actual vacation... like, three years or something. My honey and I are planning to take a camping road trip down the Oregon coast. Just for a week or so because we feel guilty leaving our cats any longer than that (we're such a couple of suckers!!), and apart from that, I wanna do some stuff around the apartment, like finally getting our office area organized. We moved into the place last December and the "office" room is still full of boxes. Oh, and the fanfic writing bug has bit me hard. Just like that. Out of nowhere. I'm suddenly dying to write hot man-sex, and curiously unrattled by the looming prospect of unemployment. Go figure.
