Ah! OMG! So I finally watched Croatoan and Hunted and they have killed me ded. D-E-D, ded. Those boys! Those boys and their angst! And their manly tears and their conversations about nothing! GAH!
Croatoan:
First off, I love that the word croatoan was on a telephone pole, not a tree. I love the schoolhouse rock reference, because who doesn't remember how bills get made into laws? I love that in the end, when Sam's infected, Dean won't leave him and won't kill him and won't let anyone else kill him. Supports my previous theory that even if Sam goes bad Dean won't be able to kill him. I also love that it's HIS burden, and he won't let anyone else take it from him. I love that manly conversation they were about to have, wherein Dean tells Sam that he feels like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders. And Sam's little tears and his insistence that Dean leave him a gun and just GO already because he knows that if Dean stays, Dean will die. Oh those boys.
And, okay. I'm sick of the neck spouting blood phone call thing. ESPECIALLY when it's prefaced with "gotta make a call."
Hunted:
Man, that lakeside conversation is KILLER. "He said that I might have to kill you, Sammy." GAH!!! TEARS!!! And poor little Dean's FACE when he says that! I mean, honestly, poor little Dean's face the entire time they're having this conversation. Jensen Ackles completely sold that. Completely. On a silver platter, even. I'm not discounting Sam's pain, or Jared Padalecki's awesome "what the hell does that mean!?" with that awesome "what the hell does that mean!?" face. BUT DEAN. I'm clearly more one for the bad boy who's using his bad boy ways to mask a wall of pain, whose bricks are made of pain and whose mortar is made of tears and the third thing.... [/sports night reference] I love that gesture Dean makes near the end when he steps closer and makes the hand gesture towards his heart, asking for Sam to give him time. Oh, oh that was good.
Ava was pretty flippin' sweet. The pop rocks and coke suicide attempt was one of the funniest things I've seen about anything, ever. I normally don't like actresses invading my boy space but I liked her. I especially liked that she wasn't blonde with sharp cheekbones that could kill a man. She looked normal.
Anywho, back to Sam and Dean. More importantly, Dean tied up in the chair, waiting for Sam to die. *sob* Especially after Gordon gags him, the wide eyes and the straining against the ropes because he knows what he's waiting for and he doesn't want it to happen. And then the look on his face when he hears Sam's voice. And when Sam unties him, he grabs him and pull him up and puts his hand on his neck, checking to make sure he's okay. So freaking awesome.
The thing with Gordon couldn't really have gone any other way. I mean. If Sam killed him, Gordon would have the minute satisfaction that he'd been right. Sam wouldn't have let Dean kill him for the same reason. They're demon killers, not bad people killers. I don't necessarily trust that someone as crafty as Gordon is going to let the cops hold him for long, and he'll be even more pissed when he gets out. Interesting to see where that will take those adorable boys.
And now I've reached the end of the episodes I had waiting on my computer to watch. I'll have to wait for itunes to get it's freaking act together and send me episodes. *kicks itunes*
In other news, I've become oddly obsessed with the short fuzzy hair on the back of Jensen's head. It's so... fuzzy!
I'd feel a lot cooler if I could be more coherent about things. But all the squealing about anything ever runs all together in my head and comes out as gibberish. Whoot.
