So you're getting a state of Merrin address, and you're going to like it.

1) Got a new job and moved off the ranch. I'm up in Austin now, which is baller, I'm living with tejaskatie, which is awesome. I work in an office job now, which is both awesome and not. Awesome because I'm not dealing with a steady influx of customers and people I'd rather not have to deal with. All of my customer service happens in writing or over the phone. I greatly, greatly appreciate the distance. Not awesome because it's 7 hours of sitting. I honestly never thought I'd mind that, I love sitting, sitting is great, but good god, sitting still at that desk is really hard. I make excuses to get up and go to the printer, go to the bathroom, go get coffee, go get water, go scan something, etc etc etc. I take laps around the office once and hour, basically, and it's the only thing that keeps me sane.

2) It's still hockey. My parents are kind of resigned at this point, tbh. They still refuse to buy me hockey related things from birthdays and Christmas (YOU'VE GOT ENOUGH, they keep telling me. NEVER ENOUGH, I keep yelling.) but since I've got friends that are happy to feed my addictions, it's all fine. I got a Jamie Benn bobble head and my favorite hockey players on a mouse pad for Christmas from two friends. It was amazing.

3) Still writing! Not posting things on lj anymore, I guess, but I just posted hockey fic last night on ao3 and I've got more ideas for things percolating.

4) Single still. Single always.

5) My sister had a baby!!! Click for pic. His name is Jackson and he is the CUTEST. The cutest since the last family baby, anyway. He's all the way over in Houston, but since that's closer than Liam was when he was born I don't have much to complain about. My plan is to go over there one weekend a month for as long as I can manage it.

I think that's it. I miss lj. I love all of you. <3 <3

ps hahahaha my paid account went away. there's a first. since college.
