GAH. I updated my iphone to the new OS (took an hour and a half last night) and it erased all of my music, for whatever reason, and I couldn't find the "purchased on shiny" playlist, so I just added my "o Canada" play list (which pretty much has all of Stan Rogers, two songs by Garnet Rogers, one song by Nathan Rogers, and two David Francey, regardless of the fact that I also have a lot of BNL, Great Big Sea, and some Alanis Morisette) and left it at that. I also had to remake all of my ring tones, because the disappeared as well. UGH.

In other news, because I've been watching all this due South, I've been READING all this due South. I'm really tired of getting to fandoms a decade late, y'all. At least incredulity still gives a crap, because this is 90% her fault, although I was on the phone with nemoinis when I decided to see how expensive the DVDs were on amazon.

Does anyone care about recs? Because I've got them. I've got lots of them. But I'm sure if you care you've already read them, and if you haven't read them, you probably don't care. They're all here, when pinboard decides to load again, if anyone is interested. Yes, I have all the cesperanza ones marked, but that's mostly because I can never tell them apart when I look at her page.

Last night my parents and I stopped by the bookstore on our way to dinner. We all wandered around looking for books and I found a gay erotica novel RANDOMLY shelved with the sci fi. It's an author I knew, so instead of being like "yo, this doesn't go here," I added it to the stack of things I was going to buy anyway. Yes, in front of my parents. The best part? Then my mother actually PAID FOR IT. All without actually seeing what, exactly, I was buying. She wanted my discount, and it's less hinky if we pay on one ticket instead of me handing my employee card to my mother.

My life, she is a roller coaster of excitement, I know.

the evil apple empire, nemo is what's for dinner, tess deserves better, canadian mounties and their american boy
