weighty finger of justice
So Monday night found me standing in front of my parents TV, hands on my hips, defending Rodney McKay's virtue at a rather loud (I've been told) volume. It either started with me grumbling about Keller or my mom making a disparaging remark about Rodney expecting Teyla to name the baby after him, but it definitely ended with me declaring that Keller doesn't deserve Rodney for these stated reasons. Also! Why SHOULDN'T Teyla at least consider naming the baby after Rodney? Again, for THESE STATED REASONS. I think there might even have been a weighty finger of justice.
Objectivity, thy name is not Merrin. Also! I really just can't watch the fifth season with other people, because other people won't let me do things like fast forward past Keller's annoying face. It's AMAZING to me that I can hate her so much as Keller that her FACE annoys me, but love her so much as Kaylee that I just want to smish her (and her face).
In other news, I'm getting LOTS of flak from EVERYONE at the store (my district manager included) because I've got an e-reader. I don't know how to tell everyone that it's fine, I don't normally read things that are actually published on it, and my biggest collection is SGA slash. I should just invite them to take a look in my car at all the books piled in it, or my home where the five bookcases I have are filled to the brim, and I still have boxes of paperbacks I don't have a place to unload yet. And the STACKS. Seriously, I am not the e-reader owner we hate, who has sworn off books entirely. It'll never happen.
