Last night there was something stuck in my eye. I say something, because I stood shivering in front of my mirror for ten minutes poking at my eye and shining a flash light at it and pulling my lids away from it to find out what in God's name was causing the uncomfortable scratching I felt (never actually found anything, and it persisted through the ENTIRE NIGHT, but oddly enough seems to have been thwarted by my contact). I would have given anything last night to have been able to dredge up a tear or two in an attempt to wash whatever the hell it was out of my eye. Despite the fact that I have been known to cry on command before, I couldn't get anything last night. Apparently my tears have stage fright.
Today, however, watching the Wizard of Oz episode of Scrubs made me cry so hard I had to go for the toilet paper, because we are too cheap for kleenex. It was more than a little ridiculous.
Took my car into the body shop this morning, for them to start their repair work. The guy was originally going to wait for the parts to come in to keep my car, since it's still driveable, but then I mentioned that the blinkers don't work, and he said since I have rental on my insurance and my car isn't actually drivable without blinkers, he got me a rental. So now I'm driving around some Pontiac something or other, which is weird because it's automatic and little and white. Also I listen to the ipod in my car by plugging it into the auxiliary jack, I don't have an itrip. So today I burned cds like it was 2003, because I have this car for three days at least.
And that's the news and the gossip.
