FINALLY watching 4.15, and my first question is WHAT THE HELL, JENSEN ACKLES? It was like Christian Bale being Batman this episode. Did he have a cold?
So I feel like I might be alone in the entire world on this, but I am so not interested in Sam's slow slide into evil. Or his lightning fast slide, since he spent all of season three kind of bewilderedly going "bzuh?" about his powers.
Good bits: Dean sticking his hand into Sam's chest, and then the "get out of me" and then the "prude." I really liked the kid they got to play Cole, I thought he was interesting. I liked that they brought back the same actress for Tessa, because I really liked her the first time around, and I really liked her again here. Halling was an EXCELLENT Alastair, he even had the voice down, so that was kind of awesome.
Bad bits: any time they mentioned angels, Dean's aforementioned Batman voice, Castiel being in the episode at all, Sam turning evil, this entire season kind of biting the big one for me.
I was sad that they killed Pamela. That poor woman has gotten the shaft out of her interactions with the Winchesters, and she didn't even get to sleep with Sam.
I have had the most frustrating time actually getting to watch this. I didn't watch it when it aired because I didn't have a TV available, so I downloaded it to my laptop, only to have my laptop fail and die any time I try to watch any bit of media on it. Since I'd purchased it on my laptop, I couldn't get it on my desk top at all, and when I got home my DVR had recorded an OU basketball game instead of SPN. I finally found it streaming online, but GOOD LORD, it was a chore.
BLAH.
