Oh, hai.

So on top of getting the lap top stolen and such, last Thursday I leaned over in Payless and my lower back spasmed again and I've spent the last week or so flat on my back as much as possible. It's finally starting to feel better again, so here I am. Up and around. Later I'm going to attempt to clean my apartment because causeways AND HER BROTHER ARE GOING TO BE DRIVING THROUGH THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!

Ahem.

EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, awkward that her brother will also be hanging out with us, and talking really really loudly about how in love Jared and Jensen are will be awkward, but WHATEVER. HE'S A BIG BOY. HE CAN HANDLE IT.

In other news. Does anyone NOT think Archuleta's going to win the whole thing? I mean, I hear what you're saying, Whits, he's not incredibly marketable and he seems to be a one trick pony, but seriously? It's going to be him. Maybe he'll fail just as hard as Mr. Ruben Studdard, but he's going to win.

Also. So. We know I adore David Cook. We KNOW I do. But while he was very good last night, he was not amazing. And while I cried when he cried at the end of "The World I Know" and I agree with Simon that he's very endearingly sincere about everything, he didn't blow me away at any point. He was consistently good, but none of the three songs were "Billie Jean" moments.

Oh, David Cook.

I mean, I didn't think Archuleta rocked it as hard as Simon did, but WHATEVS.

And, um, other things. I read the new Charlaine Harris, From Dead To Worse and was slightly disappointed in it. I'm reading the new Stephanie Meyers now, The Host and am already bitterly disappointed, only four chapters into the book. It doesn't help that because I saw her name I automatically assumed it the next in the Twilight series. OOPS. But no! Get this! It's about tiny gray aliens that attach themselves to the base of the neck and take over people's bodies. WHERE HAVE I HEARD THIS ONE BEFORE?

I'm getting some sketches from my big bang artist and am getting really excited! It's ALMOST inspirational enough to make me open the file and work on finishing it. We'll see. Oh, big bang. How I wish I hadn't lost those pages. They were SEX pages, is the problem. It's hard enough to write it once, writing the same thing twice? NEAR TO IMPOSSIBLE.

Ah well. YAY INTERNETS. HELLO, PEOPLE.

hot rockers, kelly is my brain twin, crappy reality tv owns my soul, books, me being an idiot, simon is a bitter sarcastic man
