first day of my first weekend a 2nd semester senior ^^
went shopping at Mustardseed today with jessye and alison. i got a necklace and two tops for $25 dollars, it was the greatest thing ever. (oh, and i paid for it using part of the $140 that i found yesterday. in Korea, according to my mom, finding money is bad luck unless you use it right away. so yeah, i’m doing that =P.) Then sophie came and alison left, and we saw Tristan and Isolde. *SO* good. beautiful, sweet, romantic... and no, not a chick flick at all...
then drove myself to miko’s party, not getting lost even once, so i was very proud of myself. we ate delicious mochachino cake and went outside into the gorgeous (although possibly indicative of global warming) weather and tried to light fire-kites, but kept failing because it was too windy. very good fun. after that, went to rachel’s for like… 20 minutes… and then had to leave because i still have an annoying provisional license, so i’m not technically supposed to drive after 12, and i wanted to at least be back on familiar roads by then.
so on the way home, i was listening to my iPod and “Will You Be There” by Michael Jackson happened to come on, which is an AWESOME song from the Free Willy soundtrack. so i rolled my window down and the air smelled fresh and the mist felt like ocean spray and i was singing along, and it was so incredibly therapeutic. =)
