Busy, busy, busy...
Hmm, just been looking at my calendar and October is going to be a busy month for me. I'm going to see Imogen Heap in concert on the 1st, (that's the girl out of Frou Frou case you don't know). Then, two weeks later, I'm going to a scout site in Stafforshire to do the Stargate LRP event. I'll be playing a Royal Navy psychologist who has an interest in the paranormal. Sal's bloke and a friend of his are planning to come along because the whole Stargate LRP concept has sparked their interest. Should be interesting as two of us have actual military experience. I managed to successfully snipe a set of lieutenant commander's rank slides from ebay, (thank god for snipe software) and have some military kit about the house.
The weekend after that is an event in the FLying Lead, Walking Dead system. Basically, the wild west crossed with a Romero zombie movie. I'll be playing a fire and brimstone preacher trying to hold back the armies of darkness through the power of god and a very large hammer.
We're going to talk to my uncle this weekend about us buying his house. We need to discuss ground rules with him like how much rent and bills he'll have to pay. We've come up with a plan to extend his kitchen without having to move the bathroom upstairs, which should save us about £10k in all, means we can spend the money on stuff like paying off the car and getting a kick ass HD TV!
All I need now is for
ammos to make me a cassock for the weird west event and I'll be set.
