Hello Again Old Friend. My how you haven't Changed
Well I was reminded by an awsome friend about this thing and how it's been a year since I started so you know what. In honor of it's 1 year anniversary I'll indulge in this so called lj since no one will probably ever view it except my good buddy.
It's been a heck of year. Since last fall the band broke up so you can say goodbye to Thirty Story Dreams. Since then the singer and one of the guitarists (Even :)) started a band called "The wrecking ball truth", www.myspace.com/thewreckingballtruth. I've moved on and have tried to start several projects; nothing that turned into anything or worth trying to work at, but I'm optimistic( i think that's how you spell it). In fact there are some things in the work but it's top secret.
College is around the corner and the closer it comes the more I'm excited to get out of this house. It's kinda a weird time because I can't wait to meet new people and experience life away from home and at the same time there's almost something holding me back. I mean when the time comes I'll say goodbye to my friends for the year(well the ones who won't be near me, and I'm sure we'll hang out in the summer). It kinda reminds me of going to the beach. You get there and you run out to the water, and right before you step in you double take because you know those first few seconds are gonna be cold and you don't know how cold; your prepared for the worst though. The only difference is that your not really going to return to the shore. I mean you'll visit the shore the way you used to visit the water. I just hope the beach I choose will suit me and well. There's an analogy for yah.
Well this was kinda interesting. What started off as a visit to ye olde live journal turned into a vacation. I think I might have to revisit this beatened up old ship sometime soon. Respond if you actually read this I'm curious what your thoughts were after thinking about college and your future.
