this weekend has been quite harmonious
It's been so beautiful out lately, and yes i said beautiful. So since last thursday i did see coheed it was amazing, and sparta played and they kicked so much ass it was awsome. Friday was the show and it was an awsome one, had a lot of friends there it was so cool. On that note i came to discover we are hated by the xyz affair which is funny cuz i dont care at all but for fun the band has been making fun of them in their journal pissing them off, i know ur probably thinking what are we in the third grade but it's hilarious they are taking us so seriously. The other funny thing is that the only reason that it got started is because they made a girl running the show cry with their rock star attitudes it was quite good, but their drummers a nice kid so i'm over it. haha. anyways so friday was so much fun and we went to applebees after and i got full on a bowl of clam chowder i was like what the hell i was so hungry before. Then saturday we went to the fenway music fest thing and got free stuff it was awsome and we played and it was pretty good but some how during the last song eric and josh broke like literally all their stings so for the last half of the last chourus it was just me and bill it was quite funny. Then saturday night we played superball and it was amazing cuz it was so warm out and it was a good time, then towards the end of the night eric and josh beat eachother up like almost for real but were laughing afterwards but i'm pissed for reasons unmentioned u "POO MACHINES." Then sunday rolled around. I went to the Thursday show and i have to say everyband there was amazing except poison the well and not because i dont' like their type of music but because their boring and write the same song about 10 times with their slow intro followed by actual singing and then going into screaming that isn't that good for what it is. I was wicked jealous of all their drum sets. they were all amazing it was like ahh and all the drummers were amazing too except the poisen the well guy, he could do a couple good things but it wasn't like mind melting like everyone else and the thing that pisses me off is that just because a band is tight like poisen the well doesn't mean they deserve to be recongized is good but their at the end of harcore that i chose not to really listen to, but i would if the music was better than just 2 rythme guitars. So thurday went on and they were amazing they played one of the best sets i'm ever seen a band play in my life and i love that they play songs from every album and they were so good. they sounded better that night then i think they do on their album because with the energy and the attitude they have when they play just makes you go wow. Much to say whenever i go to a show like that and the bands are that good and that talented it makes me wanna go home and practice for hours and also makes you wanna be up on stage playing in front of that many people. i just hope sometime we'll get the chance. We got a van or are getting it sometime this week in others words we have it but it's not in our possesion yet. This summer is gonna kick so much ass i just hope either abf or anolas can come with us or maybe even someone else anyways it would just be sweet to have another band be there with us. we dont have any shows for a few weeks cuz of eric and his stupid musical, i mean i'm proud of him for doing something like that but it is fucking up shows and crap and practice time and writing new songs time but it's alright cuz when they graduate they have like a month to get together while i'm in school to just write and i can learn a song in a week if i'm given enough practice time with the band. cuz the only way i know i wont mess a song up at a show is if i can play it about 3 times in a row with maybe 1 mistake that is accident related and not forgetting what to play related. man i like lj it's a good way to process thoughts and with that said i'm gonna stop writing and take a shower. leave comments i like to hear what's going on and no lame ones. hahaha tah tah
