Doctor Who: Closing Time.
Well, that was incredibly trite.
Good work my Matt Smith and James Corden. Nice dialogue. Just a shame about the plot.
The last five minutes were pretty good, in fact; it was just the main part of the episode that was pretty crappy. I mean, seriously, emotional feedback exploding Cyber-heads through the Power of Love? And it was just so... underwritten. The Doctor fearlessly confronts Cyberman. Second Cyberman arrives, and suddenly the Doctor is helpless.
Also, Cyber-conversion. I'm pretty certain that those buzzsaw sound-effects are supposed to be representative of them cutting bits off. Yet somehow that just... didn't happen.
Stormageddon was pretty neat, though.
Still, next week looks okay.
