oh my god. i had no idea. i suck at sewing. i thought, "i have a pattern. i have the material. i have a sewing machine and thread etc. How hard can this be?"
apparently my mother is either very talented or a saint. she made all of our halloween costumes for us through high school. and she would make them in like... one two-hour sitting. all i'm trying to do is make a skirt.
everyone had damn well better compliment my handiwork even if it's barely recognizable. because i will be so proud of myself if i finish on time.
also, i get out of work at like 2pm on friday, what time are you getting to RO maria?
