my car works. i got a new battery for $25. then i took it for an oil change where they told me that a fuel line had rotted through while it was sitting over winter, and i have a gas leak. great says i, i just filled the tank. at a record high of $1.77/gallon.
apparently though, i'm only looking at $80 parts and labor. which would bring the grand total i have paid out for the car to around $275. so i'm not too worried. at least i don't smoke anymore. otherwise i might have blown up. okay, not really.
tonight is karaoke night at the Dyckman. come on down.
